How It Works
Truvera’s mDL verification feature allows organizations to securely and accurately verify government-issued digital IDs in real-time. Truvera’s API handles the complete lifecycle of mDL verification—from generating the QR code to receiving and verifying the credential data.
Create a Verification Request
The verifier creates a verification request using Truvera’s Workspace or REST API. This request generates a QR code that users can scan with their mDL wallet. Once the QR code is scanned, the user can submit their mDL for verification.
mDL Presentation and Data Sharing
After scanning the QR code, the user submits their mDL, selectively sharing the necessary information (e.g., name, address, date of birth) without disclosing additional personal data. The mDL data is securely transmitted to the verifier.
mDL Verification
The mDL is verified through the Truvera platform, which ensures that the credential was issued by a trusted authority (e.g., a government agency) and has not been tampered with.
